Puppy Policies


Our Commitment


My goal is to place each puppy in a loving, responsible home where they will be safe, cared for, and cherished for life. These policies help ensure the wellbeing of my dogs and provide clarity for families.


Health & Veterinary Care


All puppies leave my home with age‑appropriate veterinary care and health records.

I encourage families to schedule a vet visit shortly after bringing their puppy home to establish care and confirm wellness.

Modern veterinary care can be expensive, and I encourage families to plan ahead for routine and emergency needs. Once a puppy leaves my care, all veterinary expenses are the responsibility of the new owner.


Companion‑Only Placement


My puppies are placed as companions or guardians only.

Breeding rights are not included unless specifically arranged in advance.

This protects the integrity of my breeding program and helps prevent irresponsible or unethical breeding practices.


No Commercial Resale


To protect my dogs, puppies may not be:


  • resold for profit
  • traded
  • placed through brokers
  • sold to pet stores
  • used for research

If your circumstances change, I will always help with placement.


Open‑Door Return Policy


If you ever find yourself unable to keep your dog — for any reason — I will always take them back.

No judgment, no pressure, no questions.

This ensures none of my dogs ever end up in a shelter or unsafe situation.

While I do not offer refunds for returns, I may share a portion of a future rehoming fee if the dog is placed into a new home. This is optional and handled case‑by‑case.


Care Expectations


Puppies must be kept indoors as part of the family and provided:


  • safe housing
  • protection from extreme temperatures
  • fresh water
  • proper nutrition
  • regular exercise
  • routine and emergency veterinary care

These basic standards ensure your puppy thrives physically and emotionally.


Ethical Placement & Support


If you ever need help rehoming your dog, I will personally assist to ensure they are placed safely and appropriately.

I am always available for guidance, questions, and support throughout your dog’s life.


Health Updates


I ask families to share major health information throughout their dog’s life.

This helps me make responsible breeding decisions and maintain the long‑term health of my lines.


Respectful Communication


I value open, honest communication.

I ask families to reach out directly with concerns so we can resolve them together.


Confidentiality


Any private information I share about my dogs, breeding program, or operations is not to be distributed publicly.
